Team Bonding at Lydiard Park Academy

Eleven volunteers from RWE NPower spent a day at Lydiard Park Academy tidying up, painting and cutting back vegetation.  The team used the day as a team-building event as well as helping in the community.  One of the volunteers said:

“The team are split across two locations (Solihull and Swindon) so a day like this is very important in getting the team together. So, the team got to know better those in the other location to which they work. It also gave them the experience of working together to achieve a task, improving communication and general knowledge of others within the team.”

The school were also very appreciate of work the volunteers did & said:

“I am writing on behalf of the Governors, staff and pupils of Lydiard Park Academy to thank you and your colleagues for the help you gave us on Wednesday with a multitude of tasks that help to improve the Academy and its environment for the start of the school year.
You all did a fantastic job and have made a big difference, the PR work with our neighbours was extremely helpful.
Should you and your colleagues be looking to repeat the experience, you would be more than welcome.”
